Aylesbury Waterside Theatre and UK Productions are delighted to announce that this year’s spectacular family pantomime Sleeping Beauty has officially launched, with the cast coming together for the first time at the stunning Buckinghamshire venue, Horwood House.
Set to enchant audiences from Fri 4 Dec 2026 – Sun 3 Jan 2027, the festive production also announced this week that West End Star Charlotte Kennedy will play Princess Rose, Sleeping Beauty herself.
The cast gathered at the award-winning country house hotel to celebrate the start of the pantomime season and the excitement was palpable for this year’s magical adventure – the first time the venue has presented Sleeping Beauty since 2013. Cast were spotted in the striking grounds of the estate being photographed and filmed, ahead of this year’s production, complete with sensational costumes and some intriguing props.
Charlotte joins the previously announced cast including Laura Main (Call the Midwife) as Fairy Snowfall, Jordan Lee Davies as the wicked fairy Carabosse, local favourite Andy Collins (BBC 3 Counties Radio) as Lester the Jester, Leon Craig as Nanny Nora, and David Ribi (Milkshake!) as Prince Vincent.
Charlotte’s extensive stage experience includes Eliza Doolittle in My Fair Lady (UK and Ireland tour) and Cosette in Les Miserables (Queen’s Theatre, West End). She is set to bring warmth, charm and sparkle to the role of Princess Rose in a production packed with spectacular scenery, dazzling costumes, laugh-out-loud comedy and plenty of audience participation.
